Donations (either financial or in-kind) are gratefully accepted and will receive both public recognition and tax-deductible receipts.
Nearly New Shop Clothing donated to the Nearly New Shop will receive an itemized tax deduction receipt, reflecting the resale value of the garments. If any donor desires to determine their own deductions, NCJW will acknowledge only the receipt of the clothing with a thank you letter. NCJW requests that all donated clothing be clean, in good condition, and preferably on hangers or folded neatly in boxes.
Clothing is accepted at the Nearly Shop from 10 am to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday. To have NCJW pick up large items, please contact the Nearly New Shop at 502-454-6633.
Suitcase Project NCJW, Louisville Section collects travel size toiletries and hygiene items for the Home of the Innocents Suitcase Project. This project provides suitcases and basic necessities to children in the foster care system.

Founded in 1895, NCJW volunteers have worked through service, advocacy, and education to improve the lives of women, children and families. From just a few hours a year at the Fashion Encore, to helping tag clothing every week at the Nearly New Shop or helping at one of NCJW's many on going programs like, Court Watch, Gilda’s Camp or California Area Family Center, our volunteers donate whatever they can and make a big difference in the lives of so many underprivileged children, troubled youths, and families in need.
